Khmer Scholar has won two awards so far

It’s been a little more than two years now since I created Khmer Scholar as a professional project for my Master’s degree at Ohio University. May 16, 2015 was the official launch date of the site to the public, although my committee had been viewing and critiquing the many drafts of the design and development concepts months before that.

So far, Khmer Scholar has won two awards, which makes me very proud of all the work of the amazing teams, advisors and contributing scholars who have made Khmer Scholar as incredible as it is today.

1st-Place, Best of Multimedia

The first awards was a 1st-Place “Best of Multimedia” at the Ohio University annual StudentEXPO in 2016.

Honorable Mention, Best of Digital

The second award was an honorable mention “Best of Digital” at one of the top communication conferences, AEJMC 2017 (Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication). The featured video above is the presentation I gave to AEJMC scholars and participants before I accepted the award on behalf of the Khmer Scholar teams.

I hope we can win even more awards for Khmer Scholar. Fingers crossed and hardest work, everyone!
